If you’re a regular reader of my blog, you know that I love to throw parties.  I love to create unique items for each party and my favorite thing to decorate is the food table.  These Halloween Peek-a-Boo Treat Bags would look great on a Halloween themed food table.

Here are the supplies that you will need:

Black treat bags
Clear packaging ( plastic freezer bags or any plastic sheathing)
Clear Tape
Silhouette machine (optional)
Craft knife
Hershey’s Candy

Let’s get crafting!

First, choose a design without any text.  This is because the design will be cut on both the front side and the back side of the bag and text will be backward on one side if your design includes text. Also, be sure to choose a simple design without a ton of detail such as a bat, ghost, or pumpkin.

Next, set your Silhouette blade to cut cardstock and adjust your image to fit onto your bag. Then, cut out your design.

If you do not have a Silhouette machine, you can still make this craft! All you need to do is sketch your design onto your bag and cut it out with a craft knife.

Once all your bags are cut, you will then need to put a plastic barrier inside the bags so the candy won’t fall out.  I chose to use the plastic sheets that scrapbook paper comes in because I have a ton of it in my closet.  This is what it looks like if you are not familiar with it.  If you do not have this, you can use a heavy duty plastic freezer bag.

Cut your plastic to fit into your treat bag. You can use a paper cutter or scissors.
