I’ve been posting a lot of crock pot recipes lately. Why? Because using a crock pot more often has seriously changed my life. It gives me more time with my family and less stress at dinner time. When I meal plan and cook crock pot meals there is a difference in my mood and attitude than on those weeks that I slip up and have nothing planned. And we all want less stress, right? I’ve posted about chicken crock pot recipes, crock pot freezer meals, 3 ingredient crock pot recipes and meals for busy weeknights but today I want to share with you some delicious beef crock pot recipes that I have found.

But before we get to the recipes, you need to have the proper supplies for crock pot cooking. I have a few simple supplies that I recommend and can’t live without.
If you’re reading this post, then you most likely already have a crock pot. But if you don’t, I recommend the Hamilton Beach Stay or Go. It is big enough to cook enough food for a family of four (two young children) AND you’ll have leftovers.
Next, you’re going to want to buy some liners. If you’re like me and are using your crock pot on a consistent basis, washing it out can be a chore and liners make clean up super easy.
If you’re combining crock pot cooking with freezer meals, you’ll want a big supply of gallon sized plastic bags.
