Over 110 fabulous Halloween Ideas shared by bloggers. #halloweenideas #halloween

Halloween is absolutely one of my FAVORITE holidays and to celebrate I pulled together the creative minds of some of my talented blogging friends to bring you over 110 fabulous Halloween ideas! From costumes to parties, crafts and home decor, recipes and free printables, we have so many fun ideas to share! I guarantee you’ll find a project (or 10!) that you would love to incorporate into your Halloween festivities. All week (Monday through Saturday) myself and my blogging friends will be sharing our fun creations with all of you. Each day will include approximately 20 Halloween projects and you can “hop” from one blog to another to check them all out.

Today I’m sharing an easy Halloween decoration using washi tape and mason jar lids… a Washi Tape Pumpkin.

I don’t do a whole lot of decorating for Halloween. I do mostly Fall decorations but I couldn’t resist making this adorable Washi Tape pumpkin.  It is easy to make and if you are a mason jar hoarder (like me) you probably have all that you need to make it.

You need:

Mason jar lid bands (approximately 20)

Washi Tape

Floral Wire

Ribbon with a wire edge

First, wrap the washi tape around the edges of the mason jar bands. I chose Halloween colors but you could also choose more “fall-ish” colors if you want to keep this pumpkin up all season. The black and white polka dot tape is actually duck tape so that will work as well.

After you have finished covering the bands, cut a piece of floral wire and thread it through the center of all the bands, forming a circle. Twist the wire together to form a ring.

Cut a piece of ribbon for the stem and thread it through the center of the pumpkin. You can secure this to the bottom of the pupkin using hot glue or you could twist it around the bottom lids but I didn’t secure it.  The wire edged ribbon holds is upright enough and if I move the pumpkin, I just adjust the ribbon.

I love this little punkin! Currently I have it sitting next to my chevron pumpkin. It adds a touch of Halloween to my room without going overboard.
