It’s March and it should be Spring weather outside. But it’s not. And I’m about over this cold weather. That groundhog can just shove it. I thought that maybe, possibly, if I created something “Springy” then Mother Nature would follow suit. So here’s my best shot..my Spring Mantel,

I decided to leave up the frames that I used for my Valentine Mantel. The aqua works well with a Spring color scheme. That and the fact that it is my current fave color. The chalkboard is pretty much a staple in our house. The birdhouses are art projects that my daughter painted.  I used them on my mantel last year and loved them so much that I decided to use them again. She’s very proud to have her work displayed on the mantel!

The super adorable printable is from the 36th Avenue.

I completed the look by adding classic blue mason jars and some forsythia.

So there you go. I’ve done my part to give winter and that groundhog the big heave ho. The ball is now in your court, Mother Nature. Please don’t disappoint us.
