These applewood smoked bacon pork sliders are mouthwatering delicious and ready in only 30 minutes.
Let’s talk bacon for a minute, shall we? Those mouthwatering delicious strips of bacon sizzling on the stove (or in my case, in the microwave). I’m not sure I can think of a more delicious smell in the kitchen. Unless I smell chocolate. And have you tried chocolate AND bacon together? Be still my beating heart.
But getting back to the bacon. Bacon crusted anything tops my food list. Everything tastes better when it’s wrapped in bacon. So this past weekend, I decided to fire up the grill and make some grilled applewood smoked bacon pork sliders.
MAKE SURE TO PIN THIS DELICIOUS RECIPE
Bacon topped pork sliders. It’s pork, crusted with more pork. What is there not to love, really? One of the things I LOVE about Smithfield® Marinated Fresh Pork is that it comes marinated in delicious flavor combinations so that’s one less step in the kitchen (or on the grill). It really allows you to make a delicious meal FAST. For these pork sliders, I chose Smithfield® Marinated Fresh Pork that I purchased at Walmart. I chose the Smithfield Applewood Smoked Bacon Loin Filet because again, bacon.
These sliders are perfect to make for weeknight meals because they only take 30 minutes to cook. Smithfield® Marinated Fresh Pork comes in a variety of flavors that can be prepared in numerous ways including grilling and roasting. AND if you have leftovers, you can chop them up and top a salad with them for lunch the next day.

APPLEWOOD SMOKED BACON PORK SLIDERS RECIPE
The recipe is pretty simple. Just remove the Smithfield® Marinated Fresh Pork from the package, preheat your grill to medium and cook the pork loin filet bacon side up for 30 minutes per pound. Since my pork loin filet was 2 lbs., I cut it in half and refrigerated the half that I did not use. 1 lb of pork loin is enough to feed a family of four.
After your pork loin filet is cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes.
Cut into approximately 1 inch medallions and place each on a slider bun.
I grilled some apples as well and you can either eat those as a side of place them on the sliders as a topping.
These applewood smoked bacon pork sliders were so good that my family gobbled them up. Even my son, who is the pickiest eater ever, ate the whole thing. So fire up your grill and make a delicious applewood smoked bacon pork slider tonight. Then go have some chocolate for dessert.
