Wow!  I truly cannot believe that I am sitting here writing a New Year’s post.  Where did THAT year go?  This year has been so amazing for me and this blog. What started out as a hobby has grown into a source of income for my family and I am so excited to see where it will take me this next year.   I couldn’t have done it without all of you, my amazing readers.  Thank you so much for visiting me here and all your thoughtful comments. This calls for a celebration and with New Year’s right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to party. I adore New Year’s Eve.  What’s not to love, really?  The night is all sparkly and glittery (and bubbly)!  If you are throwing a New Year’s Eve Party, I’ve got some simple party decor that you can put together in time for the ball drop.

I made the countdown numbers out of vinyl and cardstock and used my Silhouette to cut them out. The font is free and it is called Budmo Jiggler.  I cut the vinyl first and then went back into my Silhouette file and removed the inside circles from the numbers. Then, I cut out the numbers again on black carstock. After everything was cut, I stuck the vinyl to the cardstock numbers.  I used wooden skewers to hold each number and stuck the bottom of the skewers into wine corks. I filled some vases with gold, silver and white Christmas ornaments and my decor is ready for the ball drop.

How do you ring in the New Year?  I hope yours is full of hope and joy. Thanks so much for joining me on the blog this year and I look forward to sharing with you in 2014.
