Last weekend we had a Star Wars Party for my son. Earlier this week, I taught you how to make a DIY Lightsaber. Today I’m sharing the details of all the food that I served.

I like to come up with clever names for the food because that’s just what I do. I did a lot of research for this party and by research, I mean my son forced me to watch the movies over and over.

For the sweets, we had cake, Tie Fighters, Storm Trooper Pops, Lightsabers and Death Star Donuts. The tie fighters were my favorite and were made with Oreos from the 100 calorie snack packs and mini marshmallows stuck together with some melting chocolate.

The Storm Trooper Pops were marshmallows dipped in melting chocolate with a cute straw from Pick Your Plum.

The Lightsabers are pretzel sticks dipped in melting chocolate. Do you see a theme of melting chocolate here? I use it because it is easy and fast. Kinda a mess to clean up but easy and fast to decorate with.

The Death Star donuts are pumpkin munchkins from Dunkin Donuts.

I think the kids’ favorite thing was the Yoda Soda. Drop some Lime sherbet into a bowl full of 7 Up (or Sprite) and you have this bubbly goodness. The Yoda Soda was gone so fast I barely got a taste if it!

And how cute are these R2D2 cups? You can download the printable here. Then just print on a full sheet label, cut and stick onto a cup.
